Dear Vintek Customer,
We would like to announce that further changes
have been made to our Broadband ADSL Internet Plans. This has
been done to simplify the choices for our customers.
There are some significant data and/or pricing improvements available
with these plan restructures.
In summary:
- There are new Business plans available with new
quotas and pricing.
- Our ADSL2+ Premier Plans have been merged into
our
Easy Broadband Plans. These plans are for customers on Agile
enabled exchanges.
- Our Rapid Plans (Telstra only enabled
exchanges)
are unchanged.
- Our Naked Extreme and Naked Ultra plans have
been
merged into our Easy Naked plans
- Existing customers are welcome to remain on
their
current plans, even it is no longer listed on our web site, but are
invited to consider the new plan options and request changes
accordingly.

whether you wish to make any changes to your Vintek ADSL services.
Will my connection be automatically changed to
one of these new plans?
There will be no auto-migration to new plans;
customers will need to
request a plan change to take advantage of these plans.
Please note, customers moving to a Rapid plan will
be required to agree
to a 12 month contract. Further details below.

What if I don't want to change my
existing plan?
All customers are welcome to remain on
their current plans - even if it
is no longer listed on our website. These plans will still be fully
supported by Vintek; however they will no longer be available to new
customers or for existing customers to change to. These plans will also
not be available if you relocate your service to new premises.
If you do not want to change your plan you
are not required to do
anything - you will continue to be provided with and billed for your
existing plan.
Contract Requirements for Rapid plans
Existing customers who are changing to a
Rapid plan must agree to a 12
month contract with Vintek, from the date the plan change takes effect
(rollover date). If you cancel your service within the 12 month period,
then a $65.00 cancellation fee applies.
These customers are still free to change
plans within the 12 month
period, as long as their service remains with Vintek.
If you currently have more than 12 months on
your Vintek ADSL contract,
then there's no change. This only applies if you are outside of a
contract term, or have less than 12 months remaining.
The early cancellation charge does not apply
in the case where you
relocate during the first 12 months after your plan change, as long as
you obtain Vintek ADSL at your new premises.
Other Important information
Full information regarding these plans can be
viewed at our website,
but here are a few important points to note:
- Both uploads AND downloads are counted towards
your
monthly data quota in the Personal range of plans. Only downloads are
counted in the Professional and Business range of plans.
- Rapid plans are available on all Telstra
enabled
exchanges and will provide you with the fastest possible connection
supported by your individual telephone line.
- Easy plans are available on all Agile enabled
exchanges.
How do I change my ADSL plan?
Should you wish to change your plan, please
email billing@vintek.net
and provide the following information:
- Your account name or 8 digit customer
number.
- The username of the service for which you
require a
plan change.
- The name and dollar value of the plan you
wish to
change to (e.g. Personal Rapid 5 Platinum @ $49.95).
- If changing to a Rapid plan, please state
"I agree
to enter a 12 month contract with Vintek, commencing from the date the
new plan takes effect (rollover date), and agree to the $65.00 penalty
if the contract is broken."
Plan changes must be submitted in writing by
email, written letter or
fax. We are unable to accept verbal requests.
After you have submitted an emailed plan
change request, you will
receive an automated emailed reply confirming that we have received
your email. Our accounts staff will then confirm with you via email
that the plan change has been ordered, the date it will take effect and
any necessary billing adjustments.
Not sure if you are on the best

Just email our billing staff

check" for your connection. We will assess your connection according to
the broadband services available to you and will make suggestions for
alternative plans comparable to your current plan pricing.
When will the plan change
take effect?
Plan changes can only take effect from the
start of your next billing
period (rollover date).
Are there any
additional charges involved?
There is currently no additional charge to
change to the new range of
plans.
There is a $29.00 downgrade fee applicable
to all customers on Easy
Broadband plans who downgrade to any plan of a lesser value.
